Set the Multiplier
A simple multiplier between 1 and 10 determines the UET rate. This multiplier is applied to the base rate of 0.01%.
Calculate the Rate
UET Rate = Multiplier × 0.01%. For example, a multiplier of 5 results in a 0.05% tax rate.
Apply to Exchanges
The rate is applied to all exchanges of value—stock trades, real estate transactions, currency exchanges, and more.
Automatic Collection
Tax assessed by UET is automatically collected and remitted to the Treasury by a clearing firm, eliminating complex filing processes and reducing evasion.
